Stamford Tennis Club is one of the largest and most active clubs in Lincolnshire, with over 250 members and a strong junior section of more than 75 young players. The club benefits from seven all-weather, floodlit hard courts, allowing tennis to be played year-round, including evenings.
Coaching at Stamford is delivered by Access Tennis, offering a structured, inclusive programme for players of all ages and abilities. Junior coaching runs on weekday evenings, weekends, and throughout the school holidays, with clear development pathways from beginner to performance level. Adult players are equally well supported, with group sessions available for both regular competitors and those returning to the game, alongside individual coaching tailored to personal goals and needs.
The club has a vibrant social and competitive scene, with regular social tennis sessions on Tuesdays and Sundays, summer social tournaments, and strong representation in local leagues across men’s, ladies’, and mixed doubles teams.

We require 30 days’ notice to cancel a Direct Debit.
This allows us to manage group sizes, staffing, and court bookings fairly.
To cancel, simply email us with at least 30 days’ notice.
Please avoid cancelling directly with your bank without contacting us first, as this may still leave outstanding fees.
In certain circumstances (such as injury or long-term illness), we may be able to pause a Direct Debit temporarily.
